The veracity of pain

Sun Feb 1, 2009, 7:36 AM
General

Interestingly, pain become so popular in the society.

Pain is the description the populace had given to the unpleasant event that occurs in a human body. It is the summation of negative emotions and episodes which comes in variant intensity. The intensity is based on the impact it bring about to the individual.

Teenagers and pain

This unpleasant, stinging and irritating incident could happen in any hour of the day and any day of the year. Surprisingly, this term is widely used by the teenagers. Does it mean that the teenagers have more pain–in whatever account–than adults? Or maybe they have just started to feel the pain and bragging it out to let others know that they also have the emotions. Or the adults inured to it that in contrast they are able to cope with?

Physical and emotional pain for teens are two separate entities but have similar discomforts. In adults, however, these two has no logical link. This kind of thinking is rationally compiled by experience and invulnerability.

The veracity

As an adult, I too, deal pain in a manner that is gratifying to the society. Whoever and whatever cause the pain is not the bona fide rationale for our expression of it. It is the circumstances itself that makes the experience excruciating coupled with the whys’ and what ifs’ and the unwarranted expectations.

Maybe if an individual is aware that the event of pain could happen anytime and the experience is not so pleasing then maybe, that time the individual will set boundaries to protect themselves. It is not the literal meaning of cynicism but just a little prudence that could realistically makes an individual feel a reduced amount of pain when encountered.
